Button Rose hopped along one day in awe of the sweet smelling flowers and the grass soaked in dew.  The sun was shining, and a breeze was blowing the whiskers on her face.

“Dear Lord, thank You for such a beautiful day,” Button Rose said with a twitch of her little pink nose as she lifted her face to catch the warm rays of the sun.

But what greeted little Button Rose when she lifted her face to the sun was not a warm ray of sunshine but a cold rain drop instead.

Button Rose blinked in surprise and shook off her face.

“Now where did that rain cloud come from?”  Button Rose wondered aloud.

The sweet little bunny watched as other rabbits took shelter from the summer rain shower.

Just as Button Rose was turning to hop toward home, she stopped.

A thought came to her.

What if I dance in the rain?

Button Rose was all of a sudden so filled with joy that she got up on her hind legs and began to dance for the Lord.

“I love You, God!”  Little Button Rose sang in her sweet bunny voice.

“Thank You for giving me rain when I wanted sun.  I trust You to take today and make something beautiful from it, rain all!  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

The next day, when Button Rose came out from her burrow, what did she find?

A whole field of pink, purple, yellow, and white wildflowers!

The rain had brought them, and Button Rose looked up to thank God once again for the rain.
